FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Our joining process is different to all other virtual organisations. We review applications individually and approval for entry is decided by all personnel on a ‘majority’ vote basis. When filling out your application bear in mind we’re looking for someone who is like-minded, dedicated, enthusiastic, community orientated, passionate and most of all loyal.
Our Qualified Flying Instructors will spend around 32 hours of one-to-one tuition with each pilots bringing them up to our standard so applications are taken seriously to ensure our volunteers time is not wasted.

Our Joining Requirements are stated fully in our ‘Rules and Regulations‘ page but the important points are:
- Be at least 13 years of age on date of joining.
- Hold a legal copy of either Microsoft Flight Simulator X (Boxed), Microsoft Flight Simulator X: Steam Edition, Lockheed Martin Prepar3d or X Plane 11.
- Be registered with the International Virtual Aviation Organisation at time of application.
